"The splendid Outing", Shuim museum's special exhibition displays Yougsupans and western works centering around portraits. Yongsupans are wooden pieces in the shape of a half-moon that are attached to the front and back of a Bogae which is a part of the Sangyeo(traditional bier).
The exhibition of Yongsupans and western person-shaped works at the Shuim gallery is an attempt to broadly compare and analyze estern and western culture in the past as well as the present. We hope the exhibition will help people experience and understand the differences between two cultures.
